GCU News: New Widget Code – Hurry!

Now that I’ve got your attention, GCU is changing its widget code. If you have the old code on your website or blog, you should have received a letter with the details.
The upshot is, if you have the old widget code, you need to get the new code and put it on your website/blog. If you make the switch by Friday, October 5, 2012 (tomorrow), you’ll be entered into a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift certificate.
Once you make the switch, send me an email with a link to your website or blog with the new code on it and a link to your GCU store before the end of the day on October 5, 2012, and you’ll be entered into the drawing. Late entries won’t be entered, so if I were you, I wouldn’t delay.
The old widget code won’t be supported after October 15 either – another reason to make the change.

Edited to add: Guess what, kids? GCU has extended the deadline to qualify for the drawing to Tuesday, October 9!

Hi Corrie,
I hope you and Nene are doing well, and I hope Nene is getting around wonderfully with her new leg. I’m afraid I haven’t been checking Facebook lately, so I haven’t been following her progress as much as I’d like.
I found out a few weeks ago that my cancer was misdiagnosed back in March, and as a result it was not treated properly. It was uterine cancer all along, but they staged it as cervical 1B, and then the doctors went on to UNDER treat it. Now they’ve told me that since they missed a bunch of it, I have to undergo much more aggressive chemo this time (along with high dose radiation after the chemo). Ugh. 😦 I’m pretty much going to be out of commission as far as creating new greeting cards for awhile. Although if I get up enough energy, I’m going to try to give some of my earlier cards a make-over so they’ll fit the fast-track categories for the Kodak Marketing Campaign. 🙂
