Nuts and Bolts: Where’s My Card?!

April 15, 2016

My card was just approved but it’s not on the site!  Help, my shopper is waiting!

We hear this often and understand that once your card is approved you are anxious to see it. Maybe you just want the satisfaction and peace of mind knowing that it is there for others to see, appreciate and, most importantly, buy.  Or maybe you made it for a specific shopper who is chomping at the bit to buy it.

Newly approved cards can take up to 24 hours to be reflected on the site.  This also applies to changes to approved cards like a new image, editing card title, category, keywords, etc. Additionally this impacts onsite search results, new or changed content (titles, keywords) may take up to 24 hours to be “seen” by GCU’s onsite search. So we ask for you to be aware of this and thank you for your patience.

Here are two great tips on how to share a link to a newly approved card without the wait:

1. In your storefront sort your gallery by “newest”
2. Click on the SHOPPING CART ICON below your card thumbnail to drop it in your cart
3. Go to the card in your cart and get the “Share Card Link” link
4. Share this link with your shopper
5. Keep the card in YOUR cart until the shopper has placed it in their cart

OR

1. In your storefront sort your gallery by “newest”
2. Click on the PENCIL ICON below your card thumbnail to go to the card’s Personalize Your Card page
3. Copy this page’s URL from your browser’s navigation bar
4. Share this link with your shopper

This should provide you with two effective solutions to meet your immediate needs.
