The Rainbow Connection – Hot for Men

June 12, 2011

That came out sounding different than I intended. 😀

Here are some of this year’s (2011) hottest colors in men’s fashion from Pantone. What does this have to do with greeting cards, you ask? Well, you can pick up interesting palettes and perk up your designs with new colors that shoppers will be seeing on clothing in store window displays, etc. And I love playing with new colors, don’t you? I’ve provided the color name, a swatch and the all important HEX number for each one. Have fun!

Barberry – B61745

Beeswax – EEA94A

Blue Curacao – 2ABDC7

Firecracker – F16B46

Flint Gray – 9E9D98

Lavender – 9A90CD

Linen – FOD9C3

Turf Green – 6C8E68

Very pretty colors. Thanks again for the great info. Just to ask, is anyone else having a problem accessing the GCU website. Since last night I can’t get in at all. I have tried card links from this page, forum posts in my email, links I have of other artist’s shops and nothing works.

Another lovely set of colours! Thanks Corrie. Betsy, yes, I don’t seem to be able to access my GCU page either at the moment.

Yes, unable to access any part of GCU; even the sales notices show no images. Unfortunately, it’s Sunday, so doubtful anyone from GCU will notice until tomorrow.

Great colors Corrie. I especially love the first four colors as I tend to design with brighter colors. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to using them!

Betsy, I too had problems last night accessing GCU. I tried uploading some custom cards for a customer and had trouble. I will try to upload the cards again this morning.
