Design Contest: Making Merry – Time to Vote!
November 8, 2011
Here are the entries in our Design Contest: Making Merry.
It’s time for you to vote for your favorite card. How do you do that? Leave a comment on this post with the number or artist’s name of your favorite card. Remember, this isn’t about marketability or anything like that – this is you voting for the card that speaks to you the most. Ready? Voting closes on November 15, which gives you a week.
The artist who receives the most votes will win a $15 Amazon gift certificate. Artists, if you have a blog, Facebook or Twitter, I suggest you get out there and start promoting. Good luck, everyone!

I vote for #2 Beverly.
3. Didou
So entry rules stated it had to be a Photo Card or Custom Text Card and I can’t tell on #5, 8 & 9 if they are customizable 😦
So, I vote for:
4. Jenny Fenlason
Great job everyone! Some wonderful entries! I didn’t get mine done in time . . . hahaha!
To clarify, I checked, and all entries are either photo cards or have customizable text on the front.
Corrie
3. Didou
I liked number 3 and 8.
Thank You. 🙂
# 7 Robin Chaffin cute card.
Hard to choose-they’re all very nice designs! I think I have to go with #8, Sheryl Kasper.
Thank You for your vote Sharon. I appreciate your support. 🙂
very welcome 🙂
Oh my, they are all so sweet! hmmmmm …. Okay, Naquaiya’s!!
Blessings, have a wonderful Holiday everyone!
I vote for Janet Palaggio’s Merry Christmas Beautiful Job.
Thank you for your vote and nice compliment. Janet Lee
These are all very charming cards, but my vote goes to Sheryl Kasper’s card, because I love the little bird and the retro look of the tree decorations and the packages! 🙂
Thank you for voting for my card and for your kind comments. I truly appreciate it. 🙂
A vote for Jenny Fenlason. I like how the design incorporates room for two photos 🙂
Number 7 by Robin Chaffin is my favourite,
My vote , #9 – Janet Palaggi,
Thank you for your vote my friend!
I have to say little birdies are my weakness. I vote for Sheryl Kasper’s adorable card.
Thank you Betsy, I appreciate your support. 🙂
I agree that they are all lovely. I wish they could all win the prize. 🙂 I also kind of wish it were a secret ballot; but since it’s not, I’ll vote for 5. Lisa Charlton’s cute card because it is so unique. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a Christmas card with that many birds on it that weren’t cardinals. Lol. And their little Santa caps are sooooo adorable! 🙂
# 5 by Lisa is the most unusual!
Already in the 1. spot, my favorite pick is for #1 by Betsy Bush. Cheers, Lisa
I vote for Didou.
My favorite is #1. Rosalie Rosie Cards
Beautiful cards everyone – you’ve not made it easy for us!
May these cards bring good cheer to lots of homes this Christmas season!
My vote is for Betsy’s card #1.

They are all great but number 3, Didou is my favourite.
They are all great but I like #1 by Betsy Bush. I like the balance of colors, composition and the way the snowflakes go over the photo. But I sure would like to get any of these for a card from friends or family.
I like # 3 (by Didou) the best!
I like #6 the best.
I’ll give my vote to #5 – very different for the Holidays and I like the spirit.
This is a hard vote! They all did such a nice job. I’m going to say #5, Lisa’s. I love the birds.
Gail
Thanks for the #5 votes…. Today, I’m all smiles to see that this card has been chosen for GCU’s design of the day. Thanks Corrie for lighting the fire in me with this color palette design challenge. Cheers, Lisa
Elizabeth, Thank you for voting for my card!
Wonderful cards!
Thank you Corrie for the contest, it was Fun!
