Nuts & Bolts – Storefront Sub-Galleries Removed
As announced in 2018, the storefront sub-gallery feature was longer being supported. As of this week, we have removed the sub-gallery option as well as removing any configured sub-galleries from all storefronts using them. For artists’ who had sub-galleries, this should not impact your cards. It only impacts the way your storefront looks. Please notify us is you see anything not working properly.
Originally announced here. See this prior post on Storefront Organization.

My Use of Artificial Intelligence for Cards
By: Sun At Night
I found a way!
At first I thought that using Artificial Intelligence (AI) wasn’t for me. However, I’ve been testing
two engines: Spark by Creative Fabrica and Stable Diffusion. The talk of the town is Stable
Diffusion, not only is it free, but because the sister program is ChatGPT. Just know that Stable
Diffusion is still in the playground phase.
Signing up with Creative Fabrica’s Spark gave me a way to use the AI, comfortably. Spark has
the ability to create repeating patterns. One simply can’t recreate these patterns in the time it
took to generate them. The patterns, in my opinion, are one of the easiest to implement “added
value”.
The idea with the AI is that you can either use simple sentences or just keywords for the engine
to generate. These methods are called “prompts”. The person generating the prompt is referred
to as an “author”. In my case, I only use keywords. I think the keywords are a little faster to
generate with additional proof of intellectual property not being infringed upon.
Creative Fabrica’s Spark generates images more relevant to the prompts. The author can
generate the same prompt repeatedly and not get the same image twice. On the other hand, I
had to generate the prompt multiple times to get something that I like or one that was suitable.
Some authors are protective of their prompts and that’s ok. Just remember that a list of simple
words (keywords) or a simple sentence may not be copyrighted.
For a better understanding, I’m sharing my prompt for you to try out with any of the AI engines
that is available: blue, white, china, ornate, toile, baroque, watercolor
The link below shows how I used the AI prompt for a repeating pattern in the greeting card.
