Nuts & Bolts – Term Variation Relationships

Nicknames, terms of endearment, and regional / international names for different relationships. 

Consider different cards for relationship term variations like:

– mom, mother, ma, mum, mamma

– pa, dad, daddy, papa, father, baba

The same goes for other relationship variations like Aunt, Uncle, Grandparents, etc.

These  cards should go in their term specific sub-category, for example:

Birthday > For Family Relation Specific > Mom / Mother

vs

Birthday > For Family Relation Specific Birthday Cards > Mom / Mother > Mum / Mam

If the sub-category does not exist then it would go here, for example:

Birthday > For Family Relation Specific Birthday Cards > Mom / Mother > Other Mom / Mother

This is permitted as a new card submission with differentiating word variation of a like image design (as long as the variation is on the cover).

TIPS:

– be sure to include the specific term in your metadata (card title, keywords, artist’s notes) to help searching shoppers find the perfect card

– add a note to the review team in the Notes to Reviews calling attention to the variation like “this design based on pid#xxxxxx with a variation for “mom” vs “mum”
